Current Research
Researching a variety of options is essential when planning for wastewater treatment in the CRD. Through exploration of new technologies, the CRD can ensure that the best decision is made--one that takes into account the Triple Bottom Line (TBL) methodology of social, economic and environmental factors.
2008-9

A series of discussion papers are being created for the CRD by consultants and are available as they are completed. The papers focus on various resource recovery strategies and their potential application in the CRD, including heat recovery, water reclamation and reuse, and energy from biosolids.
